Today, Thursday, OpenAI announced the launch of the ChatGPT application for iPhone, in a long-awaited step that facilitates access to the popular chatbot.
The startup
which is strongly backed by the American technology giant Microsoft, said in a post on its blog: “Since the release of (GPT Chat), we have heard from users that they love using (GPT Chat) on the go. Today, we are about to launch the (GBT Chat) application for the operating system (iOS).
The artificial intelligence research company stated that the (ChatGBT) application for (iOS) is free and can synchronize the chat history across devices, meaning that any conversation that takes place over the web is synchronized with iPhones, and vice versa.
OpenAI said the app includes Whisper, its open source speech recognition system, allowing users to ask questions by voice.
Paid service
The company added that subscribers of its paid service (ChatGPT Plus) get exclusive access to the capabilities of the latest large language model (GPT-4) GPT-4, early access to features, and faster response times, all in the system ( iOS), as well as the web.
