The Instagram platform will officially launch its new application competing with Twitter Threads on the sixth of July this year.
The application appeared in the Apple App Store “app store” in the United States, and will be available for download in a matter of days, according to what is stated on the application page inside the store.

Threads will be connected to Instagram platform
According to the attached photos in the App Store, the Threads application will be linked to the Instagram platform, but it will work as an independent application, as Instagram users can log in directly using the Instagram account while retaining the same ID (username), as well as follow the same accounts that the user follows on Instagram if they have a presence on the new application.
The threads application allows sharing topics and opinions, interacting with them by liking, commenting and reposting, and also allows publishers to control who can respond to publications, either everyone, the accounts they follow, or only those referred to in the publication.
The app is also expected to be available in the Google Play Store for Android users in the next few days.
